Healing Climate Grief: A Journey through Meditation and Drawing
Starts Sundays in January and goes for 6 week - 1pm to 3pm
Location: Zoom
Course Description:
In the face of a changing planet, many individuals experience profound feelings of grief, anxiety, and helplessness. Healing Climate Grief is a six-week course designed to guide participants through a transformative process of emotional healing. By blending meditation practices with creative drawing exercises, this course offers a unique space to express and process the emotional toll of climate change. Through mindfulness, reflection, and art, you will explore ways to acknowledge, release, and transform grief into meaningful action and resilience.
Each week’s session will begin with a guided meditation aimed at cultivating emotional clarity and inner peace. Participants will then be invited to use intuitive drawing as a way to externalize and express the emotions and imagery that arise. No artistic experience is necessary—this is about self-expression, not technical skill. This course is ideal for adults seeking to reconcile their climate grief with hope and personal empowerment through a mindful, creative practice.
Course Objectives:
Learn to recognize and process feelings of climate grief through meditation and drawing.
Develop personal strategies for emotional resilience and healing.
Use creative drawing as a tool to explore and express emotions.
